The Maple Tree runs ‘Play and Learn’ sessions in Forest Hill Village Hall on Thursdays from 11am to 12pm.

Maple Tree Centre Manager, Laura Spencer, runs the sessions with the help of regular volunteers from Forest Hill and Stanton St John. It is a wonderful opportunity for parents, grandparents and carers of babies and young children to meet each other and socialise. An evening of music and readings, reflecting on the various ways in which war displaces so many people from their homes. The concert will last for about an hour and there will be a collection in aid of war-related charities.

Join us at the village hall to sing your favourite carols and get in the mood for Christmas with the Hinks Family Brass Band. Words and music will be provided, and there will be hot drinks and mince pies to fortify us for singing carols around the village from 6.30 -7pm
