Ride and Stride is an annual event run by the Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust (OHCT) in which people are sponsored to cycle, walk or horse ride to a number of different churches.  Participants can choose their own route covering any distance they wish and visiting as many churches as they like.

St Nicolas Church provides welcomers throughout the day to sign off sponsorhip forms and offer refreshments.  Participants are allowed to nominate a church of their choice who will receive 50% of their sponsorship money (before GiftAid). The remaining 50% goes to OHCT, enabling them to make grants to places of Christian worship for restoration, upkeep and major repairs.
