Sunday 31 March is Daffodil Day and ‘Antiques Roadshow’ at Shotover House, Wheatley, 2 – 4.30pm, by kind invitation of Alexander and Camilla Stanier. This annual opportunity to visit the private grounds of Shotover House is not to be missed. The whole family can enjoy a short walk around the grounds, followed by tea or coffee and home-made cake. Dogs (on leads please) are welcome. Once again Holloways Auctioneers will be in attendance to give expert valuations of your antiques and collectables in return for a nominal fee. You can even bring photographs of furniture or other bulky items to find out more about their provenance.
