Sunday 25 March is Daffodil Day and ‘Antiques Roadshow’ at Shotover House, Wheatley, 2 – 4.30pm, by kind invitation of Alexander and Camilla Stanier. This annual opportunity to visit the private grounds of Shotover House is not to be missed. The whole family can enjoy a short walk around the grounds, followed by tea or coffee and home-made cake. There is disabled access, and dogs (on leads please) are welcome. Once again Holloways Auctioneers will be in attendance to give expert valuations of your antiques and collectables in return for a nominal fee. You can even bring photographs of furniture or other bulky items to find out more about their provenance.
